XAVIER SOLÉ
He obtained his industrial design degree at the Elisava School of Barcelona and the European Institute of Design in Milan in 1983.
In 1986, he opened his own design studio in Barcelona, but in 1992 he got involved in the business activity of the company AMAT-3 by becoming their R+D director and developing successful products for well-known designers.
In 2006, he joined the company Grupo T Diffussion, by leading the technical department for the company TRAMO, until 2012 when he decided to reopen his own studio.
JAVIER MARTÍNEZ
At an early age, he was already involved deeply in the family tradition and started drawing and assembling all kinds of lamps with his father. He studied Product Design and Development at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
He has already worked as a designer and creative director for several lighting manufacturers and design studios.
JORDI LLOPIS
Jordi Llopis founded Jordi Llopis Design y Brots with the aim of creating by his own, and designing without any filters so as to propose a highly authentic and original product.
For many years, he has worked with several companies in the fields of lighting, furniture or decoration. He has been collaborating as a design manager with lighting companies. Jordi Llopis obtained a master’s degree in Design of Furniture at the Royal College of Art in London and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design at the Elisava School in Barcelona.
He also teaches at the ESDI, the School of Disseny and collaborates with the Elisava Alumni. His lamp Clipa’m was selected as finalist at the 2016 Delta Awards.
MARIANO CHITARRINI
The first gift he received on Epiphany was a box full of carpenter’s tools, which may not have been a coincidence, as he believes this event has influenced his life as a designer and a creator.
He studied architecture and always has been passionate about objects and lights, which led him to open his own design studio in Barcelona, and has been collaborating ever since with LuxCambra in different lighting projects.
His work creates a coalition between different universes in order to improve the quality of life of people. Each creation is the result of a refined design process taking into account the technical and emotional aspects of the lamp.
BENDITAS STUDIO
Benditas is an innovation-driven design studio, based in Barcelona and specialized in product design, art direction and design strategies. Benditas was founded in 2019 and seeks to solve day-to-day designs challenges with a transversal vision by interconnecting knowledge, experience and creative sensibility.
The studio is directed by the award-winning designers Caterina Vianna and Ferran Gesa, and their names appeared in several magazines such as Domino Magazine, Yatzer, ICON, Core 77, AD Architectural Digest, The Duch Institute of Food and Design and Mold Magazine.
BRUNO DE ÁVILA
As a graphic designer for Brazilian products, he is designing lamps and accessories for companies in Brazil and Spain. His style is mainly minimalist and geometric.
XAVIER DE SANTOS
Industrial designer. He studied mechanical technical engineering and industrial design in Barcelona. Since 1990, he has been working in various design studios, notably collaborated with the design studio Pascual Salvador by participating in lighting and furniture design.
Since 1997, he has been working at the Design Center Europe of the Volkswagen group. Since 2006, he has been collaborating with BMW and AUDI Munich, KIA MOTORS Frankfurt and since 2017 Geely Design LINK & CO Goteborg.
