JOAN ANTONI BLANC 1973
Hanging lamp. Parabolica. NEW

The “Parabólica” hanging lamp, selected for the ADI-FAD awards in 1973, was designed by Joan Antoni Blanc with the intention of achieving a lampshade with an ideal geometry to project light efficiently. The parabola is the most favorable manner for this purpose, as long as the interior light source is correctly located; which is a condition that forces to create a superior space for its incorporation. The fusion of these two concepts configures the silhouette of the “Parabólica”.

The perforations in the upper part allow to generate different nuances and light effects on the lampshade itself, when the lamp is switched on.
